We always need help keeping the archive review up-to-date. At last count, we had twenty-five archives to keep track of, and five more that still need reviews. If you would like to contribute to the archive review, all the information you need is right here.

How to review

How to Review

In order to get authors and archives in touch with each other, we ask two sets of questions about archives: from the reader's viewpoint, and from the author's viewpoint. We hope these reviews will help authors find a home for their stories.

If you want to contribute to this project, just follow these steps:

  1. Decide if you would like to do a readers’ review, authors’ review, or both. The lists of questions are further down this page.
  2. Pick the archive you would like to review. If you don’t have a particular archive in mind, we have a list of unreviewed archives to choose among. You may also add information to an existing review, or review a site not on our list. We only require that any site reviewed is an archive that accept unsolicited Harry Potter fanfic submissions.
  3. Answer the questions as clearly and as impartially as possible.
  4. Decide if your review is signed or anonymous, and if you would like a link back to your site.
  5. Cut and paste your review into the body of your email, and send your review to dracopottamus@hotmail.com. PLEASE DO NOT SEND THE REVIEW AS AN ATTACHMENT.
  6. After the review has been checked for accuracy, it will be added to the site.
