Welcome to the Harry Potter Writers’ Guild Beta Reading section. We used to use Bravenet’s classified ads service to run a “Beta Swap” service, but the service was bogged down with ads. As a result, the ads were rarely used. Other sites use a list of beta readers — making it the authors’s responsibility to contact a beta — and that is the system we will be using from now on. A handful of betas expressed interest earlier, and they will be posted once we make sure they are still available to beta.
