Authors' Review

Authors' Review

  • Are the rules and terms of submission easy to find?
This is a site that is managing a huge writing challange that goes in waves. Since there is no active wave, the best thing to go is to subscribe to their mailing list here.
  • Do they supply a beta reader for authors?
    I don't believe so.
  • Are they polite about rejecting fics?
    I don't know.
  • Do they remove author's notes or copyright notices without asking the author first?
The stories all have a standardized header that the author filled out.
  • Do they ever archive fics without permission?
    Never.
  • Are they prompt about removing fics at an author's request?
    Perhaps.
  • What is their plagiarism policy...do they investigate or do they take a complainant at their word?
There was nothing about plagiarism on the site.
  • Do they update at least once a month?
During the active parts of the fest, they update every week or two weeks.
  • Do they make it possible for readers to leave feedback?
There are email addresses listed in the story headers.
  • Is their location stable, or do they move frequently?
    Stable.

    Yes.

    Yes.
