We are not accepting story submissions at the moment, but
things are prone to change around here quickly! News of
submission policies will always be posted on the front page.
- Do they supply a beta reader for authors?
Not applicable.

without asking the author first?
The currently archived stories have author-written disclaimers.
- Do they ever archive fics without permission?

The old site hasn't been updated for over a year...but the
new front page that says they're under construction appeared
recently, so it looks like the site may reappear in the
next couple of months.

Yes.

- Is the site attractive?
It's nice.
- Is the site easy to navigate? (can you get to all the
main sections from every page, or do they rely on the 'back'
button an awful lot?)
Ummm once you figure it out it's ok... I was kinda lost
for a few minutes there.
- How selective is the archive? (Are you likely to find
a good story?)
Not really sure how they decide or what the guidelines are.
- Are they a specialty (ship or genre centric) or general
(only ratings restrictions) archive?

- Is it easy to navigate within multi-chaptered stories?
They are still working on the site, only ficlets are up
and those aren't multi-chaptered so I don't know.
- Are there search engines? Are they easy to use?
They have G + H Ficlets, Fanfiction Novels, Knockturn Alley,
and Author Index.
- Are the indexes (author, title listings) clearly laid
out?
Yeah.
- Are stories appropriately labelled if they require
warnings?
Yeah.
- How many pages do you have to search through to get
to the first story?
Second page is story (unless you are looking for nc-17 which
is fourth page)
- Is it easy to leave feedback?
Yup, email addy or review board.
