Authors' Review

Authors' Review

  • Are the rules and terms of submission easy to find?
Yes, they are in the side menu and linked to on the front page.
  • Do they supply a beta reader for authors?
There is a beta reader category on their message board, but there are no posts on it.
  • Are they polite about rejecting fics?
They are emphatic that they will delete fics that violate their policies...I would not confuse this with rudeness, though.
  • Do they remove author's notes or copyright notices without asking the author first?
The author seems to be in control of the upload process. However, their program is incompatible with my browser so I could not upload a test fic to find out if stories are screened...
  • Do they ever archive fics without permission?
    No.
  • Are they prompt about removing fics at an author's request?
I can't find out if the author can delete their own stories, or if they need an admin to delete stories for them.
  • What is their plagiarism policy...do they investigate or do they take a complainant at their word?
They say that they haven't had anyone break their rules yet, so their procedure is unknown.
  • Do they update at least once a month?
They seem like they get updated fairly frequently.
  • Do they make it possible for readers to leave feedback?
If there is a way, I missed it.
  • Is their location stable, or do they move frequently?
    They've moved once.
Note: it is possible to run an open round robin story with their story interface.
